STATE WETLAND DEFINITION: Documents available for proposed amendments to statewide dredged or fill procedures

From the State Water Resources Control Board:

On March 5, the State Water Board will hold a Board Workshop on the Proposed Final Amendments to both the Water Quality Control Plan for Ocean Waters of California, and the forthcoming Water Quality Control Plan for Inland Surface Waters, Enclosed Bays, and Estuaries of California to include the State Wetland Definition and Procedures for Discharges of Dredged or Fill Material to Waters of the State, and the Proposed Final Staff Report including the Substitute Environmental Documentation.

Two documents have been released for public review and discussion at the March 5 Board Workshop for the Procedures:

  1. State Wetland Definition and Procedures for Discharges of Dredged or Fill Material to Waters of the State – Clarifications to the January 2019 Version (Strikethrough/Underline)
  2. State Wetland Definition and Procedures for Discharges of Dredged or Fill Material to Waters of the State – Stakeholder Requested Policy Changes
